Michael Frank Landon

Mike was born on August 1, 1975 and passed away on March 26,1998 after an automobile accident near Susanville, CA. He grew up in Tacoma and attended Whittier Elementary, Hunt Middle School, and graduated from Wilson High School in 1993. He was a senior at Central Washington University, majoring in marketing. 

Mike had many interests that included music, fishing, biking, reading, family campouts and his dog, Buffy. He especially enjoyed collegiate and freestyle wrestling, winning many awards. Whatever Mike did was centered around his family and friends. 

He is remembered for his engaging manner and sense of humor, and for his infectious laugh. He had a big heart and an open mind. Mike was a special person and will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts and memories. 

Mike is survived by his parents, Bruce and Chong; aunts and uncles Kathy and Jeff Lickteig, Dale and Laura Landon, Barb and Glenn Reiff; cousins Leith, Laurel and Emilie, Chris and Julie, Alice and Becky; an aunt and three cousins in Korea, and many, many friends. 

The family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice. Services will be held Friday, April 3, 1998 at 1:00 PM in the Chambers Creek Chapel at New Tacoma Cemetery. Interment in New Tacoma Cemetery. Arrangements by Tacoma Funeral Home and Cemeteries, 564-1311.
