I know that I am a little late, but condolences are due to fellow classmate Helen Thomas in the loss of her father, Mr. Johnny Thomas Sr. on last week.  Please keep Helen and her family in your prayers.

The alumni of Central High of Talbot is having its Annual Christmas scholarship fund raiser and dance.  12/8 On this day let's pray for comfort and strength for 2 of our classmates.   Nadine's mother who is also Lee's mother in law passed away on yesterday 12/7 after a lengthy illness.  As always let's unite and stand together in solidarity to lift them both up in prayer during this very difficult time.  We love you Nadine and Lee.

Thanks to all the alumni who participated in this weekend’s class reunion celebration. Boy! What an awesome and amazing time we had. God is truly good! Thanks to all for the wonderful and overwhelming feedback in which Francina, Chebarbara, and myself received.    It was all truly a labor of love and none of us could have done it without the other.  It was more than a pleasure laughing with everybody, reminiscing, watching Francina tear the dance floor up, and Regenia and Mr. Jackson (George Jefferson –lol) cutting the rug. Oh and let’s not forget Lee almost bringing everybody to tears and even Ricky Mitchell shocking everybody with his words of the evening.   There were so many moments of joy. WOW!   I am still smiling and my heart is overjoyed.  We have come too far to let it stop just here; so as promised I am going to be working on our next venture very soon.   Most agreed that a trip of some sort should be our next goal. And those who know me know that this one is right down my alley.   So can we say travel in mid to latter 2012….yayyy……. (clap, clap)

In such a short time, tragedy has struck yet again for another member of our class.  Condolences are in order to fellow classmate Aretha Stinson who lost her mother today (March 23rd).   RIP Mrs. Christine Stinson.  Aretha stay encouraged to know that your mother suffers no more and time will heal all your pain.  Be blessed to know that your classmates love you and are thinking about you at this time.  Prayers of comfort are being sent your way.
