Moved into new home built in March 1961. (Propertys bought from Robert Tamney's father.)
Two wonderful children: Charlotte L., dob May 9.1961 and Bert James, dob April 2, 1964 (Daughter named after Charlotte Peterson, class 1960)
Contracted acute Leukemia in December 1964
Died March 6, 1965.
Hedy loved her new country and Florida.... She learned English quickly and did very well in schools.... Hedy made so many friends at CHS in schools clubs and loved the chorus with Mr. Copeland ......Mr.Leto was especially helpful in many ways........Though so very young, she was able to experience a loving family and two wonderful children........ Hedy retained her faith in our loving God.....Now, she has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren......She is and was missed by so many friends and family.......... Though many years have passed, ..... Hedy's memory still lives ever afresh and strong.
