Billy was my big brother, he had more personality than most any one I know. We were very close as children, he used to tow me on his bike to the theater in the Springs every Saturday, protect me from goblins on Halloween, we watched cars go by on May street at night and wonder where they were going, there was only woods at the end of the street lol I believe Billy came to have a personal trust in Jesus before his death and we will be together one day. Billy died October 11, 1991 of throat cancer at home. He is buried in Orange Hill Cemetery. He is survived by three children, Billy III, Melissa and Tanya; two brothers Sammy Ansotigue and Johnny Leonard and one sister Wanda Malone.
I am a good friend of Billy's sister Wanda. I was happy that I was able to see Billy a short time before his death. We had a few laugh's at he and Wanda's home when we were teenagers. He was a nice fellow and made us laugh. I pray Wanda and her family are comforted by the fond memories they have of Billy.
