John Perry Lockwood LOCKWOOD, John Perry, 49, departed this life at his home in Clermont, Fla., January 9, 2009. John was born September 18, 1959, in Detroit, Mich. He moved to Lutz, Fla., with his family in 1974, graduated from Chamberlain High School in Tampa, attended the University of South Florida and University of Central Florida, and was employed by AT&T in Orlando, Fla. John was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his father, Charles P. Lockwood of Lutz, brothers, Charles D. and wife, Cheryl Lockwood of Denver, Colo., David C. and wife, Maya, Lockwood of Tampa, and Scott G. (wife Christina) Lockwood of Lutz, and his longtime friend, Karin Bookout of Clermont. He is also survived by his beloved aunt and godmother, Margaret Dowell; aunt, Eileen Buck, aunt Francis Cody, and aunt, Denise Biskner; his nephews, Charles and Chandler Lockwood of Denver; nieces, Victoria and Vanessa Lockwood of Lutz; and nieces, Bryn and Hannah Lockwood of Tampa. He is also survived by numerous cousins, including his especially close cousins, Charles Olivier, Mary Pizzuli, and James Olivier. John will be buried in his family plot at Myrtle Hill in Tampa, alongside his deceased mother Mary. John was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed. His family and friends will honor his memory at a graveside service.
