Christopher Bedingfield
BEDINGFIELD, Christopher Daniel, 42, of Tampa, Florida
passed away Tuesday, January 21 of injuries sustained
when struck by a car December 20, 2003. Chris was preceded
in death by his older sister Laura Bedingfield. He is
survived by his parents, Milt and Julie; brother Milt Jr.
and wife Terra and their children Chelsie, Natalie and Maggie;
sister Debbie Voiles and husband Dave and children Wendy and Ben;
nephew Zack, son of Laura. Chris was a graduate of
Chamberlain High School and was captain of the swim team
and member of the Jazz band

Chris was my best friend through high school and the last time I saw him was at my wedding, in Washington, DC, in '91. We really connected around music and his passion for it, as well as an overall adventurous spirit, inspired me greatly. Chris was somewhat shy, publicly, but was extremely creative and a risk-taking kind of guy. This was a positive trait but unfortunately also became a self-destructive one. I still miss him terribly though am grateful for the gift of the years of friendship we did have.
