Oh How I loved to hear Harriet sing...she was so spirited....I still think of her often ....she was a good friend.

I met Harriett in 4th grade, at Miles, the year they started busing. She was a dear friend and protector. I recall in 7th grade at Young where I was threatened they were going to chop off my long hair, maybe that is why I have not had long hair on 30 years!
Harriett came to my aid and was there from me from that day until the last day of our Senior year! Rest in Peace!
