Hi how is everyone doing. Just wanted to ask for prayers for my mom. They only give her a few more days to live. Her bowels have shut down and her kidneys have started to. We are at the point of praying that she just doesn't suffer anymore. They are just trying to keep her comfortable. Also, my brother, Tony, has cancer. He has his good and bad days, but is hanging in there pretty well. Thank you in advance for all of your prayers.

Ricky, I know it will be hard to let her go, however, sometimes it can be a great relief not to see them in pain any longer. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I have contacted Joann Ockerman on facebook and told her about our website. She is no longer on the "Missing List". Welcome Joann.

Regarding Gwen, MARRIED!!!!! Please Gwen share that with us, many of us would love to hear from you (especially me).

I just got back from a 7 day trip to Alaska and had a wonderful trip. We stayed at Delani National Park for 4 days and Anchorage a few day. Glad to be back home.

Oh, one more thing, Marsha is about to have an empty nest. Her youngest daughter, Dana, is getting married in August. We all may want to keep her (meaning Marsha) in our prayers!
Love you Marsha.

Have a Great Summer everyone.

It has been a while since I visited. I have been very busy listing & selling real estate.

Eddie, I did see Josh at Adam & Sara's wedding. It sure was hot that day and those guys in those tuxs but it was a beautiful wedding.

I ran into Wanda about 10 days ago and she actually looked great and said she was doing well. She had just returned from a treatmentin Oklahoma. She has lost her hair but the wig looked so natural I didn't even realize it was wig.

My sister Sharon isn't fairing as well with her chemo, please keep her in your prayers. Many days she is too sick to get out of bed and has lost a lot of weight.

Still looking for a job. I need some health insurance so bad. Anybody know of anything please let me know.

Hi to all. It has been such a busy summer I don't get a chance to get on the web site often but I do enjoy being able to click on and in a few moments catch up on all the happenings in everyones lives.
Sharon, I hope Rebecca is doing well and is home from the hospital. No matter if it granbaby # 5 or #1 or # 20 they are all such wonderful blessings in our lives.
Ricky, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I remeber how hard it was to let go of my Mom, but you do finally reach the point that you just pray for them to be at peace with no more pain. Nine years later, there are still days when I miss my Mom and wish she were here, but I find comfort in knowing she isn't suffering anymore and that whatever I am going through she and the Good Lord are always right here with me.
Gwen - congratulaions!!!
If anyone has a number or address for Wanda let me know please. I am glad to hear she is doing better.
Rob, glad to know you are out there keeping an eye on us, miss hearing from you. Hope all is well with you.
Jane, Sharon is in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted on how she is doing. Good luck with your job search. If you are interested in the mortgage business give me a call, we are hiring.
Eddie ( and Marsha) I have the pics you want, fianlly, downloaded in the computer. When I get 5 more free minutes I will make you a disk. For now I gotta run, I have a whole bunch of green beans and other veggies waiting on me. To bad they won't can and freeze themselves!! If anyone has a taste for some freah beans,or tomatoes any other kind of vegetable head my way - there is always something in that garden that needs picking. I can't seem to keep up with it,never mind the fact that I'd rather be heading to the lake to fish!!!

Oh, to be able to have veggies to can or freeze! You are blessed Valynda! We've been in Texas about 7 years now, and I still can't get the hang of gardening down here. We have a run of 10 to 12 days of 3 digit temps. In our part of the state,we consider it a cold front in the summer when the high is in the low 90's. I know were suppose to have 2 growing seasons, but it takes a lot of work to get the ground here prepped to grow anything--All hard red clay. This year, we tried container gardening and had some success. I have great respect and appreciation for the early pioneers who came out here and braved the elements and wild life. I told my husband that we would have starved to death if we had been born in that era!

Ricky,
God Bless you. I havn't been on the site in a few weeks. I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. I have been taking care of my Mother for about 4yrs now, stroke and heart atacks. She is my best friend, I can't imagine the loss I would feel if I lost her. I lost my father and stepfather a few years back. It does get better with time. But you will always have precious memories, nothing can take that away. My prayers are with you, that Our God will help take away the pain that you feel.

Our Merciful God, be with Ricky and his family in this time of need.
Amen

I have had a classmate bring it to my attention that birthday reminders are sent out on some classmates and not on others. I have nothing to do with which birthday reminders go out, it is automatically sent out by this website based on the information YOU put in your profile and which box you have checked. Sorry if it has offended anyone that your birhtday reminder did not go out to other classmates, but once again, I have nothing to do with it.

If you did not have a reminder go out let me know and I will try and help you fix it. Oh, one more thing, if it is your birthday, it will not remind you of your own birthday.

We finally got a break from the three digit temps, but we haven't gotten below 90's yet in the heat of the day. We are in stage 4 drought conditions. So, Eddie, even though I would LOVE to have some good 'ol Kentucky soil, it still would be hard to keep things growing if we only are allowed to water twice a week! A little bit south of me in Austin, they actually have people going around and fining residents if they water on the wrong day or time!

With the start of school, summer is officially over for my family. We went up to the Dallas/Ft.Worth the weekend my son caught a ride back to college in AZ. It was great since my sister's family and my parents were able to meet us there.

Hey Rob, I can honestly say I've not really grown up! I've only got two kids that are shorter than I am! They are my 6yo and 8yo!:)

Ya'll take care and have a great Labor Day weekend! Don't work too hard and enjoy the lush green KY landscape!

My mother told me that Carol Montgomery lost her sister to cancer last week. Carol's mailing address in on her profile if you would like to send her a sympathy card or just a thinking of you card. I'm sure she would really like to hear from us. My thoughts and prayers go out to her.
