Really enjoyed the frienship I had with Jarrod and his family. They treated you like family. Not to much time passes before something triggers the memories of Jarrod. He was very talented and passionate about everything he did.

Cousin Jarrod was the funniest person to be around. I remenber one day during the summer when Mrs. Cline had to go to a meeting at school,he stayed with us at our house. We were outside playing and he slid down a hill and got extremely dirty needless to say he didn't have any clothes to change into. He had to run around in his undies until my mother got his clothes washed up. He thought it was the funniest thing that ever happened. I loved Jarrod to death and thought he was the best cousin anyone could ask for. I can't wait to see him again oneday.LOve and miss you! Rhonda S. Hamby

hmm, I remember more about Jarrod from elementary school - like how he LOVED Kiss and then the sleepover in 6th grade when Ms Cline had all the girls come over and Jarrod was the only guy there - that was funny! But I also remember the sand art he did on the beach the week after graduation - he was sooo talented. I wish I had taken some pictures of those.

I have sooo many wonderful memories of Jarrod. We were in kindergarten-9th grade in the same classes. In 2nd grade he took my silly putty and put it in his pocket without the container and Mrs. Cline coming into our class and trying to get off of his pocket and give it back to me. The whole time she was fussing. Another time in 2nd grade Mrs. Purser left the room and he took my purse. When she walked back in he was dragging me around the room by my purse. She walked in and paddled us both without any questions asked. I was heart broken. There was never a dull moment with Jarrod. He wasn't being mean. I think it was a 2nd graders way of saying "I like you". I also remember when he came with his guitar and KISS album. That was a big day for Ellendale!! I never remember him being unkind or angry. Always, always he had a smile on his face. The last time I saw him was at the beach the summer of the accident and he gave me a kiss on the cheek. HE was always a special friend. I think of him often. Whenever I meet another Jarrod, I tell them about you and have a smile in my heart. We miss you and think of you often and one day we will all be together again!!(Love you too Mrs. Cline!!!)

Jarrod was a great guy. He was funny. And I also remember how he would play his air guitar. How could I ever forget Jarrod? He and I share the same birthday, March 8th. I always think of him especially on this day. Miss you Jarrod!
