Billy was one of the REALLY good ones! Friendly and helpful as the day is long....did not surprise me to hear about his life of coaching kids. Will never forget his friendly way, great smile and love of life and laughter. Some of my best memories from THS included the Schneel. Bill fought the good fight for many years, but is now at eternal rest with his creator. My deepest sympathies to Margo and family, and Lynne. Rest in peace brother......Richie Pink
Having known Billy since Lowell, I'm sending my sympathies surrounded with all my good memories of him. It seems like yesterday that I remember riding my bike to his house and just before going over the railroad bridge, stopping to see the "crazy lady" tossing a cabbage or lettuce up in the air to scare us. The years have gone by so quickly and losing Billy now is too soon.
Sorry to learn of Bill"s passing. Condolences to his family. I moved to Teaneck my senior year and Bill was one of the people that welcomed me and told me about the school and activities. Although the years past all to quickly thoughts of THS classmates are often. RIP my friend. Rich
My deepest sympathies to Margo and the Schneeloch family. Bill was a wonderful person and was able to continue his love of coaching which started back in Teaneck coaching teams in the Teaneck jr. Football league. His warm smile will always be remembered.
Back in the day when we all played together at Sagamore Park, Bill just lived down the block from me on Palisade Avenue and we often would get together with Ed Wellington and a few others in the neighborhood and play either football or baseball depending on the season. Bill was a great friend then and through the associations he continued to make through life provides a lasting testimony to the kind of person he was. We always miss the ones we love. I can only hope that we can all leave some good behind as Bill has.
May you rest in the peace that seemed so much a part of your life and may your family take comfort in that.
Billy had everything. He was a great athlete, with a great smile, great looks, and a beautiful wife. He was also a wonderful guy and friend. That's him, number 24 on the Junior Ivy League photo I posted. He was speeding to try and break in between me and Ron Gaglione. It would have been a great block. But it sure looks like Gag had his two friends out maneuvered that day and made the tackle. In the other photo you can see Billy in the upper left hand corner and see why he was voted the most handsome man in Teaneck High School.

I fondly recall our endless days playing ball at Sagamore Park and later on THS teams.
Always a good guy and Viking brother.

Billy was a very nice person; he went to Lowell School, as did I.
He was kind and always greeted you when you were there.
It's a nice memory.
Rest in Peace, Billy.
