After graduating from MHS I moved to Los Angeles, where I received a Bachelor's in film production from the University of Southern California. At USC I became really interested in sound editing and mixing.
For 7 years I had a great time in LA, working as a sound editor for various TV shows and movies (Law & Order Franchise, Psych, Arrested Development among others). In 2010 I got sick of the biz and moved to Austin, TX, my wife's hometown. Now I teach filmmaking to high schoolers for an amazing program called Creative Action (http://www.creativeaction.org) - our program is an elite film intensive for young people to share their visions. I also train new film teachers for our after school programs. It's a lot more fun than I ever had working in Hollywood, and our movies are better too :)
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my wife Hannah and my four cats - Antigone, Jagger, Bea, and Mittens.
