On Sunday, December 12, 2010; the beloved husband of Pamela Bucci; father of Anne Marie (John Simmons, Jr.) Bucci-Simmons, Victoria Lynn Bucci(Atraya Spriggs-fiance); son of the late Lawrence and Phyllis Bucci; grandfather of John Curtis Simmons III, Keira Marie Kittrell, Wayne Anthony, Troy Lorenzo and Maliyah Janae Simmons; brother of Laura (John) Moats. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. 

Wayne was a Life Member of the Oxon Hill VFD and worked at the DC apparatus shop.
