Jeremy Rice's Obituary
Jeremy Mark “Germ” Rice, 25, of Terre Haute, passed away at 12:03 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, in Union Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on Aug. 12, 1982, in Terre Haute, the son of Mark Rice and Cindy Weber Rice. He was employed by Rankin EcoWater.
Survivors include his parents of Terre Haute; one brother, Justin Rice of Boston; paternal grandparents, Jim and Ruth Rice of Riley; maternal grandparents, Pat and Jerry Weber of West Terre Haute; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a 2001 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and cum laude graduate of Indiana State University, where he majored in marketing. He was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for Freshmen.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating. Cremation to follow services with burial at a later date. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
