Ah! Yes!  Friday noon dances at Jr. High, Y dances, Skateland, and Hedges Boyer.  Cruising around Frisch's Big Boy and now and then even buying one of those expensive 50 cent hamburgers instead of the usual 15 cents.  Chipping in so that we could buy $1.00 worth of gas to ride around all day.  Jolly's Rootbeer Stand (Still open by the way).  Carloads to the drive-in (sometimes in the trunk).  Trips to Gem Beach.  Great fun and great music.
