I've justed finished pouring over the pictures Janice posted to the class website ... tears came to my eyes as well as smiles to my face. Linda and I had planned for sometime to attend however those plans changed at the last minute due to business committments. I am truly sorry that we could not attend. Looking over all of the pictures I felt as though I was there after all. Although we have all changed to some degree, I still view everyone as they were back during our days at Columbian. Tonight I look forward to again viewing the pictures with Linda; and yes, I will no doubt get out the Blue and Gold and make comparisons! God willing I sincerely hope to see everyone at the 50th. reunion.

My best to each and everyone of you!

Jeff

I found a picture my father took in 1960 of the West Jr. High Football Team. It wasn't developed until May of 1961. Fun to look at it. I can't remember everyone's name after 52 yrs. but remember playing with them. It's posted on my profile pg. if you would like to go back memory lane. See how many you can name !

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words ,thoughts ,and gifts. It's been a long time but I have always believed friends made in the early years are some of the best you will ever have. The last few weeks of Laurels life has proven that truer words were never spoken. She put up a valiant fight against Ovarian Cancer for 4 yrs. and 3 months but was called home on July 26th. I will never forget all of you.

Thank You So Much

Hi everyone. So from looking at the pictures I really missed a lively get together. You all look so good, who would think it has 50 years....

Linda and I finally arrived back in Florida late last night ... 5 hours later than scheduled. We had a plane malfunction in Columbus which also caused us to miss out connection in Atlanta. It was great seeing all of you at our 50th reunion. It seemed as though our week there was all to short.

To all those I missed talking with I sincerely apologize. Time seemed to slip by so quickly so, please forgive me.

Janny and the committee did a great job and we all owe them a special thanks for time spent planning the reunion.

I look forward to seeing all of you at our next reunion, God willing.

As usual, our committee did an outstanding job planning our big "50".  Thank you SO much for all you did!

Both evenings were fantastic. It was great for everyone to come together and connect with one another as if we were all teenagers again. Yes, we all look older and some of us are moving a little slower, but the love and comraderie we all shared revealed that we're all VERY young at heart. (Scott reminded me that we've been friends for 62 years ..... WOW, that certainly seems impossible!)

We missed those of you who were unable to attend, and we hope you'll be able to join us next time.

I even hated to say goodbye to our "breakfast group" at the Hampton on Sunday. (Linda & Jeff, I envied your spending a few extra days in Tiffin afterward.)

Much love to everyone ..... I miss you all already !!

Love, Gloria

50 years!  What an event it was, and so many came.  Thanks to the amazing committee who planned and planned.  I feel privileged to be part of the Columbian class of '64.  Have a great year ahead--laugh and dance as much as you can!  Love and prayers, Margie (Mathias) Anderson.

Thanks to the Reunion Committee for all the time and energy that made our 50th Class Reunion so successful! There seemed to be so much love as we enjoyed each other's company. It is a blessing to be part of our wonderful class. Until we meet again, may God bless all of you and enjoy every day!

Love,

Dottie

One thing is certain, we all had a fantastic time both evenings.  I truly felt like I was back in high school, surrounded by my wonderful friends.  I am very proud to be a part of the Class of '64 - a great class that remains close even though the years have rolled by.  I am already looking forward to our 55th - "Good Lord willin' and the crick don't rise!"

This year's gathering was truly great.  As we started to break up that Saturday night I heard several groups of people expressing the thought that (given our advancing age and how much fun it was to see each other again) maybe we might think about getting together in 3 years instead of waiting for 2019.   A gathering in 2017 would put a lot of us right at the 70-year-old "three score and ten" landmark, after which as I understand it, our bodies tend to start wearing out faster.

There was also a sense that we could make a 2017 gathering a lot simpler.... like perhaps have it be informal (like Friday) on both nights.   There were other 'partially baked' ideas on this subject floating around in conversation as well which we might find fun to share here online.  And how might we help take the extra load off of those who do all the work to set such things up?

Well, I promised Pete Dull that night that I'd bring the subject up, so here it is!  Whaddya all think?
