As a fellow Noble School classmate and neighbor on East Davis St. in Tiffin, I remember Dick as being a very quiet kid. When I was small, I can remember my mom taking me up the street in a wagon past his house to "Brooms" grocery store at six's corners; and was later known as "Mussers" grocery store. My mom would stop and talk with his aunts who raised him and his brother, Paul, who past away this August of 2009. I really didn't know that Dick had passed away until I read Paul's obituary in the newspaper that he was preceded in death by his brother. May they both rest in peace. - Judy (Seifert) Scherger
Dick and I were good friends growing up and what I remember most was playing base ball together. We both played for the Elks team and had a wonderful time doing it. We lost touch with each oter after graduation but I still thought of him a lot. He was a good person and will bve missed a lot. Rest in pease my friend. Ray Bailey
