ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hello, all! I can't believe it has been 25 years! Clay and I are looking forward to seeing those at the reunion, but we must prepare you a bit for our visit.
Clay was diagnosed last summer with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). This was a shock, of course, and has brought changes in our lives. We realize it is a bit of a shock for our old friends, as well, which is why we're writing with a pre-emptive strike. While we expect some discomfort with the situation, we want to focus on the enjoyment of seeing old friends again. We hope you'll join us in not dwelling on the sadness of the situation, but rather visiting with enthusiasm.
Clay is now in a wheelchair most of the day. This makes attending the dinner at Pioneer Mill not possible for us. However, we will be at the football game Friday night and possibly at the 80's party afterward. Since we can't get the wheelchair up into the stands, we'll have to watch from the fence at field level. It will be hard for us to locate you in the stands, so I hope you'll seek us out to say hello. I'm sure we'll be fairly conspicuous! We look forward to seeing you all!
