We are renting in Erie, PA while my husband teaches and works on his Phd. We still have our home in New Philadelphia, Ohio (my husband's hometown).
I have been working as a PT after graduating from OSU in 1989. My husband (also a PT) and I have worked together in a variety of settings in 5 different states and have been married for 20 yrs! After adopting our daughter from the Phililppines in 1998, I was a stay at home Mom until 2005. Since then, I spread my time out working, volunteering at my daughter's school, being active at church, watching after 2 indoor dogs (yellow lab & pomeranian) and chauffering my daughter to sports and music practice. |

I was a very shy student required to bring home good grades and not encouraged to participate in sports. I was allowed to try out for cheerleading my senior year, which was a fun outlet. I was not around the end of sophomore year because my parents wanted me to go to school in the Philippines with the goal of going to med school and finishing early (no middle school). When political unrest caused us to return in the middle of my junior year, I was out of place and took a couple senior classes because of my placement in the Philippines. I feel like my high school years were compromised because of this and wish I had more fun times at CHS. I tried to do a lot of stuff my senior year to make up for lost time including the seneca co. pageant (ha!), taking classes at Heidelberg, George M musical, cheerleading, and dating underclassmen (ha, ha!!!). |
