MISSING CLASSMATES

Greetings and salutations fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and other interested parties of the Lake County High School Class of 1984!

In an effort to foster better communication, camaraderie, and collegiality among us, Anthony Edwards started this site in February 2008. The site is independently maintained but has now become part of the larger Lake County Schools Alumni Association network that class of ’83 alum Randy Turnage is leading. Randall Liles joined Anthony in June to help with site maintenance and content. We are looking forward to see how far we can go with this project.

A summary of what has happened on the site so far:

Class list acquired from the Alumni Association has been uploaded.
Senior yearbook pictures have been scanned and are linked to profile areas.
A reunion survey has been posted.
1984 time capsule is posted with a partial playlist of the BillBoard Hot 100 songs of ’84.
Information on some of our teachers has been entered (we need more and more detailed info, please).

Some short-term goals we would like to accomplish:

100% enrollment (all members of the class of ’84 signed up)
Adding Content, Content, Content!
Improving the site to increase and facilitate communication among classmates.
Make this site the go-to place for all reunion or alumni information.
Have a lot of fun!

What we need from you:

Fill in your profile/contact information (if you are new to the site).
Contact as many class members as you know, and invite them to sign up for the site.
Send in content that we could post to the site – photos, videos, Jr./Sr. banquet programs, graduation programs, etc. (We would love to be able to post video cuts of football games, plays, etc.)
Start discussions in the message forum area.
Let us know what you want to see on the site: would you like the ability to chat live with classmates, see entire yearbooks posted to the site, etc?
Send us corrected information for classmates that appear in our list but weren't part of the class or classmates that are missing from the list. Also, please send along any information concerning deceased classmates that we do not have posted.

Tony and Randall will be working on the site as they have time, but we would love any and all the help we can get. At least contact us to let us know how we are doing.

OH! Some of the profiles that were entered by classmates early-on (Autumn and Laurie come to mind) were accidentally cleared when we uploaded the complete class list. We didn't do it on purpose. Please re-enter your information.
