Geneva McNish (Centlivre) VIEW PROFILE

Geneva Dianne "Geni" (McNish) Centlivre, age 67, of Cottonwood Falls, KS, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the Golden Living Center of Chase County in Cottonwood Falls. The daughter of William Myrl Bill and Marjorie Lee Margie Pendergraft McNish, Geneva was born October 8, 1946, in Joplin, MO. She graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka and attended Washburn. She and Donald Louis Centlivre were married July 1, 1967, in Topeka. She worked, as the social service designee, at Beverly Enterprises Nursing Home in Cottonwood Falls for 12 years and at Flint Hills Eyecare in Emporia, as an office administrator, for 12 years. She was a member of the Strong City United Methodist Church. Geni was a friendly, outgoing, cheerful person who never met a stranger. She saw the good in everyone and was always there to help others. She is survived by her husband, Don, of the home; Jeffrey A. (Kathleen) Centlivre of Americus; a daughter, Katherine A. Centlivre of Cottonwood Falls; and four grandchildren: Darien Levi Centlivre of Cottonwood Falls and Kaitlin Elizabeth, Emily Diane, and Logan William Emmitt Centlivre of Americus. She was preceded in death by her parents.
