Dwane D. Brown Dwane Brown of Lewisville, TX, formerly of Topeka, passed away on October 23, 2014. He was born in Beloit, KS and spent his early years in Downs, KS. In 1959, his family moved to Topeka. Dwane graduated from Highland Park High School in 1965. He entered the U.S. Coast Guard in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1970. He was a Vietnam veteran. In 1968, he married Kathie Crites. They were married for forty six years. He is survived by his wife Kathie, sons Jason Brown and wife Laura of Little Elm, TX, Jarad Brown and wife Yen of Flower Mound, TX and two grandsons, Gavin and CJ. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, TX on Sunday, November 9 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrrollton, TX 75010 or the American Diabetes Association, 4100 Alpha Road, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75244.
