TAMPA, FL- Robert S. "Bobby" Blackwood, 50, formerly of Topeka, KS, passed away suddenly Sunday Jan. 6, 2008 of natural causes, in Tampa, FL. Bobby was born May 3rd, 1957 the son of Edwin "Bill" and Eunice Blackwood. Survivors include: his parents, Palm Springs, CA; sisters Patti Blackwood, Judy Hudson, and Cheryl Scott, and brother Dan'l Blackwood, all of Topeka, KS; and several nieces and nephews. Bobby attended Topeka schools and graduated from Topeka High School in 1975. He served in the US Navy from 1979 to 1983. Funeral arrangements are under directions of the Florida Mortuary in Tampa, FL, with burial to be at the Leavenworth Nat'l Military Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS.
