Peter Lindner

Peter Frazier Lindner, 52, died suddenly late Monday, September 13, at St. Francis Hospital.  He was born in Garden City, KS, on Nov. 2, 1957, and moved with his family to Topeka on January 21, 1968.  He attended Randolph Elementary, Boswell Junior High, Topeka, High School, and received his graduate education at Washburn and the University of Kansas with a major in advertising.  He was the son of Nel Lindner Richmond and Robert Richmond, Topeka, and the late Maurice Lindner of Garden City.   He was a well-known realtor for 23 years and was deeply involved in the development of the Cherry Creek North in Topeka.   He was proud of his profession, and he always went the extra mile for his clients.  His father called him a Renaissance Man because he was accomplished on many fronts with a wide interest in the broad spectrum of the arts.   When a question, any question, came up, everyone said "Ask Peter."   Peter and Dawn Rozann Markham were married on May 11, 1979.  She survives as do their four sons, Samuel (Lauren Stone) of Philadelphia, Theodore (Heather Cairns), Thomas (Jordie Broadhead) and Benjamin of Topeka; his mother and father; sister Katherine (Ken) Wasinger and son Joseph, Topeka; brothers John Lindner, Garden City, John Richmond (Barb) and son Eric, Bartonville, IL, and Douglas Richmond, Chicago.   Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Verna Markham, Topeka, and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  Private burial will be Thursday, Sept. 16, at Rochester Cemetery.  A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, at Topeka Bilble Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Special Lindner Fund, c/o Davidson Funeral Home.
