Brian M. Resnik, 37, Topeka, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014.

Brian was born July 30, 1976 in Newton the son of Robert and Marilyn (Powell) Resnik. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1995 and Kaw Valley Area Vocational-Technical School.

He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, R.S.E.S., NRA, the National Eagle Scout Association, and was the Scout Master of Cub Scout Pack 110.

He was employed by P.C.I. of Kansas and had formerly worked for McElroy’s Inc. for 17 years.

Brian married Amber Moore on April 27, 2002. She survives. Other survivors include their sons, Hunter and Tucker; parents, Marilyn Resnik, Topeka, Bob (Cecelia) Resnik, Topeka; sister, Karin (Chad) Liles, Auburn; father and mother-in-law, Stuart and Cindy Moore; and sister-in-law, Sarene Moore, all of Topeka.
