Manning, David P. Jr. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas David P. Manning Jr. passed away unexpectedly October 17, 2015, in Corpus Christi, surrounded by his loving family. Dave was born in Troy, June 4, 1937, to the late David and Gladys Manning. He was a graduate of Troy High School and spent his career in many facets of the printing industry. Dave was well respected across the region for his experience and expertise. Before retiring, he most recently worked at Regal Art Press and Creative Advantage. Dave was a dedicated family man. He imparted on his children the values of a strong work ethic, perseverance in the face of adversity, and above all the importance of family. Over the years Dave, enjoyed spending time camping with his family in the Adirondacks, Maine, Myrtle Beach and lastly Aransas Pass, Texas, where Dave, and his wife Gail enjoyed their retirement. With his quiet smile and kindheartedness Dave touched many more people than he could have ever imagined. He was the loving husband of Gail J. Mossey Manning with whom he shared 55 years of loving marriage. Their greatest treasure are their four children, David P. (Denise) Manning III of Hoosick Falls, Michele (Timothy) Kronau of Troy, Marguerite (Peter) McMillen of Wynantskill and Joseph (Jill), Manning, Fort Collins, Colo. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Patrick and Eric Manning, Peter and Matthew Kronau, Joseph, Taylor and Jessica McMillen and Jordan and Jenna Manning, as well as his great-granddaughter, Gracie Manning. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Darryl (Becky) Manning and many nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by his brother, Dwight Manning, and in-laws, Lester (Blanche) Mossey, Lester (Claire) Mossey and Arlene (Joseph) DiCerbo. There will be a memorial service at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill, NY 12198, on Saturday, November 21, as 1 p.m., a reception in Damian Hall will follow. Please join us as we celebrate Dave's life and all he meant to so many. David was one of my long time classmate buddies in TPS 12 in south Troy and at THS.  God bless David and his family.
