After graduating from THS I went to Cornell University and then to Albany Medical School. After graduation I trained in Baltimore, MD, Albany, NY and finally in New York City with a detour with the US Navy. After a couple of years in NYC teaching and doing Newborn Medicine in Spanish Harlem, I returned to Troy and entered Pediatric practice, opening a neighborhood health center.
After almost fifteen years of that and teaching at Albany Medical College (Professor of Pediatrics), and a divorce, I returned to school, got business training and shifted careers.
For the past almost 25 years I've been doing Healthcare Management with a variety of companies around the US but based here in Troy.
I'm not retired and have no plans to do so while there are still windmills out there to tilt at. To boot, my new family, wife Dawn DeMars and 13year old son, keep me running nonstop.
