Judith (Pfeiffer) Stoehr

Pfeiffer-Stoehr, Judith New York City Judith Pfeiffer-Stoehr, 77, died suddenly Thursday, December 8, 2016 in New York City. Born in Troy she resided in New York City for the last 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and May (Wrigley) Pfeiffer. Wife of the late William Stoher. She is survived by her sisters, Sharon (Ned) VanDerwerken and Mary (Richard) Kainer of Poestenkill. She was predeceased by her sisters, Eleanor Seibert, Brenda Young, Bonnie Bauer; and brother, Clifford Pfeiffer. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. She leaves behind dear friends, MaryAnn and Ian Crawford as well as many others. She graduated from Troy High School and Albany State University. She was the first female Bank Examiner for New York State. Upon her retirement she enjoyed travel, and attending Broadway shows in a city she called home. She also enjoyed her trips to Upstate New York to spend time with her family. At Judy's request there will be no viewing hours. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In memory of Judy donations can be made to the American Heart Association .
