Virginia Yurack (Fenzl)

From the Albany Times Union - April 24, 2014

Virginia Fenzl (Yurack), born on April 14, 1940, passed into everlasting peace surrounded by her family on April 3, 2014. Born in Troy, Virginia was the daughter of the late Carl Yurack and Virginia Chrystal Yurack. She was a graduate of Troy High School. Virginia was a model before raising her family. She had a lengthy career with Owens Corning Fiberglass and the New York State Department of Health. She instilled a love of Cape Cod, Mass. summer vacations to her children and now her grandchildren. Her favorite hobby was shopping and she was an avid reader who was a regular at the North Greenbush Public Library. She was affectionately known as Bill and Aunt Ginny to close friends and family. Above all she loved and adored her grandchildren. She was an unwavering fan of all their sport activities and hardly missed a baseball, softball or basketball game. She attended every school concert and play and was present at all prom pictures. In addition to her parents, she was recently predeceased by her brother-in-law, Michael Codella. Her survivors include her daughters, Christina Bovee Curran (Michael) and Tonya Bovee Day (Scott); her beloved grandchildren, Jordan Curran, Jared Curran, and Olivia Day; her sister Carolyn Hagymas-Codella, and her brother Anton Yurack (Christine). Virginia is also survived by a niece, Kimberly Hagymas Printup and nephews, David Hagymas, Anton "T" Yurack, Adam Yurack and Andrew Yurack along with three great-nephews and two great-nieces.

Sad to see you go. You were for me a happy memory of Troy High School. I do not know where the time went. Your family must have been a great joy and their memories of you everlasting. Gail Newton
