Lorraine Jewett, 72, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Born in Troy, NY on January 26, 1946 she was the daughter of William and Dorothea Duby. 

She was a graduate of Troy High School and moved to Ballston Spa in 1980. Lorraine was a hostess at 76 Diner in Latham for many years. 

In 2006, she moved to Bradenton, Florida where she became an active member of the VFW, the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge, serving as the Feather Your Nest game caller. She made many friends and enjoyed all her social activities.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Jewett, son John Jewett, daughter Deborah Jewett, granddaughter Christina Welch, and her siblings Brian, Larry and Anne Duby.

Lorraine is survived by her children Shelley Pettit (Grant) of Ballston Spa, Robert Jewett, Jr. of Clifton Park, and Theresa Stangle (Eric) of Ballston Spa; her grandchildren Eric, Jimmy, Brittany, Katelynn, Courtney, Nicholas, Cody and Jacob;great granddaughters Dakota, McKenzie, Arianna and Faith; brother William Duby; sisters Cathy Laraway and Sandra McLarney; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 3 from 11am to 1pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A service will follow at 1pm.
