DAVID GALLAGHER OBITUARY

Gallagher, David T. TROY David T. Gallagher, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital. Born and raised in Troy, he was the son to the late Norbert Gallagher and Helen Wood Gallagher. David graduated from Troy High School, class of 1964, and attended Hudson Valley Community College. David worked for many years in the financial banking industry, he also was a well-known musician, playing the guitar for the band Blue Light Special and several other local bands. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Gallagher; and his brother, Bryan Gallagher. In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his five sisters and two brothers. Family and friends are invited and may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Deacon Chuck Wojton officiating. Burial will be private.
