Nancy and I had been friends since early grade school.  It was very  sad to learn of her death. She was a smart inquisitive young lady with great leadership skills. She was an independent thinker, and driven to excell  in  all situations.  She missed out on a portion of her Freshman year as she was sidelined at home  due to an injury .  Yet she worked hard and managed to become our Valedictorian. She was a true friend and will be missed.

I was so saddened to read of Nancy's passing. I liked and respected her, and admired her calm manner. I will post a notice on the Class of '67 page, as she was known to many.

Nancy was a lifelong friend. We met at School 18 in first grade and she has been one of my dearest friends ever since. I will never forget her sharing that it was my birthday when we were on the bus going to the Beatles concert at Shea Stadium... and the  people on the bus (WTRY's Trip that we both won) sang Happy Birthday to me. She was a very intelligent and thoughtful friend and I will miss her dearly. Rest in Peace my dear, dear friend.

I first met Nancy in high school and we remained friends ever since. In addition to what has already been mentioned,Nancy was a kind and thoughtful woman who always reached out especially when someone needed to hear from a friend. We spoke just before the New Year and she was enjoying her new place and looked forward to having her pup join her . Thanks for your years of friendship to us all Nancy.

Although I knew Nancy in high school, we became closer as adults. I saw her with other high school friends on trips to Maine and Cape Cod. She was smart, analytical, sensitive, caring, and fun to be with as she loved to laugh. In the last few years we texted and called each other. She enjoyed the photos of my daughter's cats and dogs on Facebook and lovingly discussed her own dog. She sent food after my husband's serious heart attack and surgery in 2021, Nancy was a wonderful friend and I will miss her very much.

I have been friends with Nancy since freshman year of high school  Although she was homeschooled her freshman year, I would visit her at home.  We took several trips together from England in our senior year, to Cape Cod in 2016.  Along with being very intelliigent,  Nancy was a caring and generous friend.  When I was going through cancer treatments, Nancy sent me food.  When I broke my leg, Nancy sent me some cups with lids so that I could transport liquids on my knee scooter.  I was touched my her kindness.  I am saddened that her life has been cut short.   Rest in peace my friend.
