Sadly Laurie's husband, Joe Cordi, passed away on 4/21/09, one year and one month after her. They are survived by their daughter Gina and her children. Their wonderful son, Michael, died of leukemia at 21 years old in 1994.
Laurie had a rough couple of years; losing her Mom in 2006, her Dad in 2007 and then several weeks before her sudden death she learned that Joe had cancer. She got him through the surgery and died suddenly a week later.
Life is often unfair and certainly unpredictable, live it to the fullest......Kris Cooney-Ayotte
