Ruth Haner (this is Rich’s mother, but it’s the only record we have of Rich’s passing)
TROY - Ruth M. Gadzaliszyn Haner, 77, of Conway Court and former Lansingburgh resident, died Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at Samaritan Hospital.
Born in Queens, she was the daughter of the late martin and Bertha Pikul Gadzaliszyn, and the wife of the late Thomas J. Haner who died June 29, 1984.
Mrs. Haner worked at Catholic High School in the cafeteria for several years. She was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens and former member of the First Assembly of God Church of Lansingburgh.
Mother of Thomas E. Haner of Vermilion, Ohio; Sharon (William) Hornick of Lansingburgh; Denise (Derrick) Denny of Colonie; Ruth (Donald) Bendetti of Brunswick; Daniel (Diane) Haner of Mechanicville and the late Richard J. Haner who died January 14, 1986; Mrs. Haner is also survived by five sisters, one brother, five granddaughters, six grandsons, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
