James Hotte

TROY James J. Hotte, 43, of 5th Avenue in Troy, passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospital on Friday, November 25, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born in Troy on December 23, 1961 and was the son of Anne M. (Romeo) Hotte and the late Lucien Hotte. He graduated from Troy High School and was employed by Vista/Repeat Business Systems in Albany for the past 25 years. Jim was a loving and devoted father to Jovahn, Jenelle and JoLeigh; beloved by his brothers, Lou and his wife Theresa of Conn. and Thomas of Troy. Jim also leaves behind the love of his life, Mary Marshall and her sons, Sean and Jake; Jim also leaves behind a large loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a multitude of loyal, generous and caring friends. Jim was an angel on earth whose time to go to the Lord had come. His special light and humor brought joy to all that knew him and will be sorely missed. Bubbles as he was known, was an avid Giant and Yankees fan. He was always a part of the Hotte Giants Network. He was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal Church of Troy, N.Y. Funeral from the Bizzarro Funeral Home, 171 Hill Street, Troy on Thursday morning at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. from St. John's Episcopal Church, 146 1st Street in Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the James Hotte Children's Fund through care of Key Bank, 130 Fourth Street, Troy, NY 12180.
