Got married in 1999 to my wonderful husband Mike, after 6 great years together. In August of 2004 after 4 1/2 years of marriage, I had my world ripped out from under me when my husband was killed in a car accident while I was pregnant with our 2nd child. I thought my life was over that day as well. It is amazing what grief can do to your mind.

I still miss my husband every day, but I came out with liquid steel in my spine. You learn that life goes on and it is not about you when there are children involved.
