Funny how things happen, Rick married my husband's niece - Guess that made me his Aunt. We use to joke about that. He helped raise Shanna's boys and did a good job providing for them all. He will be missed by many.

Mark Sorensen (1972)

Rick was a good man and took great pride in his work. His very last carpet-laying job with his partner Ron Caffey was at my house on the afternoon of the day before he passed away. Rick was not feeling well and looked a little pale, so my wife Deborah - a registered nurse - asked him to lie down in our daughter's room for awhile. When the job was finished, we made him promise that he would go to urgent care. I heard later from Ron that he checked into the hospital instead, where he passed. I miss him and hope he's surrounded by friends and loved ones in the next world... Mark Sorensen, '72
