Desoto - The Palo Verde Track Team ran faster than my car could go at full speed.

Skipping 1st period, at 6 A.M. and going to breakfast with the gang.
Skipping the day and going to Sabino Canyon.
Skipping the day and going to the EL CON Mall .

'Senior Skip Day' was for amateurs.

I believe his name was Mr. Bowles? He guided me through the workings of the Model United Nations my senior year.

Barbara, your post saddens me to my core!
Even though we did not know each other at PV it is not because I did not want to know more people. I was very self conscious at that age (about E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G) so I tried to stay under any ones radar. So, if we did have a class together, forgive me for not talking.
Hopefully, today, parents and teachers can recognize the warning signs of bullying, ether direct or indirect, and are better equipped to deal with this ugly part of school life.
I hope you know that the best revenge is a having a good life after high school. And from your post, that seems to be the case :)
