Greg and I were married for 33 years-fast and furious truly a sign of the times. I think there is only one yearbook picture of Greg maybe frosh or soph. We had our first child as soon as he finished high school. His draft number was 10, lucky for us the military did not accept him. We had alot of rough times, but I remember vividly the good times. We had our daughter 11 years later-go figure! He followed in his Dads footsteps and became a bricklayer. His many splendid buildings are evident throughout Pima County. His profession broke his back-literally-he became disabled in 1992, had 3 major back surgeries. It broke his heart and soul. He was diagnosed with Hep C in 1992 when giving a blood sample for the first surgery, his health continued to decline. His pain was so great at times that his pain management doctor ended up prescribing methadone which got him through most days. He did rehab himself through 2 drug addictions, heroin and cocaine before he became disabled. It seemed like a long and depressing road, but believe me it was a blink of an eye and I would not trade it-I tried and could not. Greg was my love in high school (and many other girls, but he always came back to me!) Watching him walk up those steps in his Stay Prest Pants-Tattersall buton down shirts usually with a V-neck sweater and oxfords-WOW! Too bad we can't be with you guys and seeing the in memory list alot of his friends won't be there either-sad! So email me-everyone let me know whats going on!!!
