In high school Dwane, Bonnie Drenske, Steve Cloud, Tim Murphy, Greg and Cindy Rubbo

and Kenny Webster all hung out together, at Palo Verde's 30th reunion in 1999 I danced all night

with Dwane and my husband danced with Sue Metzer. We had so much fun!

Dwane will be missed wish we would stayed in touch.

I can remember in gym class making jokes about Dwane's womanly figure.  He was such a great guy.

Dude

I ALWAYS JUST KNEW DWANE TO SAY HI. WE MAY HAVE HAD ENGLISH OR STUDY HALL TOGETHER. ACTUALLY , WE USUALLY SAW EACH OTHER IN WALGREENS LATER ON IN TUCSON AND WOULD SHARE STORIES. I WAS TEACHING AT  CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL ON CAMINO SECO THEN. IT WAS FUN TALING ABOUT PEOPLE AT PV. SAD.

Dwane was not bosterous or a bragger. He was a very fine example and carried himself well. I have a good memory of him at PV. We were in several classes and gym. I'm so sorry he's gone at such an early age.

Who would've guessed that Dwane and I would become a couple after the 30th reunion festivities.  He was the sweetest, kindest man I have known.  He did, however, have his impish side.  Our relationship lasted six years. I wish I  could   call him, one last time and say, "Hey, Waterbury, it's Kettlewell." That was my message the last time I called, five days before his death.  We had crushes on each other in high school and neither of us knew how one felt for the other.  I can truly say I miss him dearly.
