Lynn Monka

He was a really nice guy, that was only at PV for a short while. I went out with him before he enlisted. He was killed in Vietnam October 1969 shortly after arriving there. I found his name on the Wall in Washington, it broke my heart.

I do not remember Michael, but it makes me wonder how many or our classmates served in or were killed during the Vietanm War. It would be great to know. Because of my extensive travels to DC in Earlier years doing business dealing tih NEA I alaways stopped at teh Viennam War Memorial. We ahould also honor all of oour classmates who served and returned hom from Viettnam  as many at the time weere mistreated horrobly because of an unpopular war that they either were drafted into aor joined. What happened in Vietnam was not their doing, All they did was follow orders. I always thank all veterans, but I especailly thank Vietnam Veterans!!!
