How very sad to see this. Doc holds such a special place in my memories. In the 6th grade at Kellond, our fabulous teacher, Mr. White, paired us up for a square dance competition - and we won!! Doc was amazing, so energetic and so much fun. I'll never forget him.

I too was in Mr White's 6th grade at Kellond with Mr M. Dillon as our student teach. There are so many lost to us now. Very sad. And several it seems from that class! Condolenscences to families.

I went to Kellond too but didn't know Harry til Fickett and PV. He was a very nice
guy. Always polite but had a good sense of humor. So many years have past but some
people will never be forgotten.

I also went to Kellond with Doc, (always so kind), and was in Mr. White's class.  We were so lucky to have been part of a special class with such a special teacher.

I was also in the same 6th grade class.  What a wonderful year that was.  I love Mr. White and had quite the crush on Mr. Dillon lol..I remember one day in class Mr. White was going down the rows one by one to see if we had did our homework.  Sometimes he didn't collect it and would just check to see if we did it.  Doc said he had not done his homework.  Mr White asked why and he answered "No excuse".  Mr White gave him a perfect score for his honesty and quickly told the rest of the class that it only works one time lol... Great memories~

Kathy, I think I remember you...certainly your name. I too was in Mr White's 6th grade class and had a HUGE crush on Mr Dhillon. Stilll have the class photo somewhere, I think. One funny incident I seem to have burned in my memory is that of Mr White getting completely frustrated with a boy named Bobby (don't remember last name) and threw an eraser at him and hit his head! The boy had white chalk on his face and looked as white as that chalk-in shock!! I also remember Mr W recording our voices for the first time and when my voice came on I had no idea it was me then was mortified that it sounded so "uncool!!" That was my favorite class of all time!

Christine I remember you well.  You had the prettiest hair!!  I loved that class.  We were all so blessed to have Mr. White as a teacher.  You know he hand picked his class every year and he class was the model class for the whole city.  Do you remember all the visitors we always had.  Anyway that is what Ms Straw told me when she let me know I was going to be in his class.  I remember Bobby Klein as he sat right next to me.  He was a character!  Do you still live in Tucson?
