Jerry and I rode dirt bikes together as sophomores and juniors. I believe his parents had a bomb shelter in their backyard. We never kept in touch after high school. I'm truly sorry he's gone, best to his family.

Jerry lived in Desert Steppes, the next neighborhood east of Sherwood Forest where I lived. I recall attending a couple of parties at his home. I remember him in school as a genuinely nice guy with a ready smile and good sense of humor.

I was able to get to know Jerry when he was an Assistant Manager for a Food Giant Store on Grant Road. I worked for Associated Grocers,I serviced his store with non-foods and candy, this was back in 1978 or 1979. Really a neat guy for the store. Since I was in the class of '68 I didn't know him in school. He was great working with his people. I know he will really be missed, great guy.

I first met Jerry at Magee Jr High but it was not until just after high school that I got to know him & become friends while working at the Food Giant Super Market at Broadway and Camino Seco. Jerry later worked as assistant manager with my father Jerry Sr. at the store on Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon road. My dad really enjoyed working with him as well. He made working fun and had a great sense of humor. He is missed!
