Scott was a friend of mine at PV. His mother found out that I did portraits and commissioned me to paint his younger brother that had passed away. He may have worked briefly at the Food Giant Super Market at Broadway and Camino Seco. Iver Jerome Orcutt from PV also worked there. Both guys made workng there fun. So sorry to hear this news. Life is way too short. Our sincere condolences to all his family and friends. I have nothing but good memories about times spent with Scott...

I am so sorry to hear the news about Scott.  We had a lot of good times in HS.  As life goes on we all get separated over the years but those memories never seem to go away.    Rest In Peace Friend, as they say see you on the other side.  yes

Hmmm. I sent my thoughts earlier but i don't see them here so i will send them again bc Scott deserves them.  Scott was my friend and (was) (is) a good soul. I am so happy i saw him at our 50th reunion. We had a drink & then took a walk around and talked story. It was great. We were looking around for Joe Babinski but Big Joe wasn't there that night. Scott was a sincere and courteous person who always put others first. I really respected him then and continue to respect him now.  The world needs people like Scott. Take it easy my friend. Im sure we'll see each other again.

I totally agree what Jack just posted. Scott was a very kind person and also loved sports like we did. We all grew up together attending elementary at Steele and junior high at Magee and then on to Palo Verde High School. Scott lost his brother Roger early in our teens and it was very hard on there family. We all have moved on in life but I still remember the good old days like they were yesterday. Rest in peace Scott you have earned your pass to heaven.

Well, it is hard to improve on Jack's and Danny's comments so I won'y try.  Like them, I met Scott at Steele Elementary and knew him during junior high and our days at PVHS.  We even had a few classes together at the Uof A.  As so often happens, we had very little contact after that, but I am glad to have had the opportunity to check in with him during the 50th Reunion.  He was just as I remembered him -- a kind, thoughtful guy.

Rest in Peace, Scott.  (Note:  this was actually posted by Dave Cole)
