My dear friend Arlene, I miss you.

I often think of you and the times we hung out at my house--all we ever did was laugh, about everything and anything. You were shy--but when we got to laughing, your shyness went right out the window. I will always remember you my dear friend.

Arlene was a good friend to me too, she was very quiet...But funny once you got to know her! She was a very good friend to me....

I found out Gilbert Soto died about a year ago...I was so stunned about my friend dying of Cancer, I never came back to look at the others who had passed away.

A question I will ask Jesus when I go to Heaven is, "Why did all these Wonderful people have to die so soon?"  I just don't get it...Arlene was so kind as Annette Castro was too...I considered them to be 2 of my very best friends...I guess I never thought about them, because school at Sunnyside was so hard for me...So when we moved away to California, I tried to forget my past.

Sorry if you are reading this and you hear pain in what I write, but that was just a reality back in my early formative years...Kids can be so cruel and I was treated pretty badly back then...

It's true...There is a saying:  Some people will forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel...

The few people that were so good to me will never be forgotten....I will forever carry, first and foremost Gilbert Soto, Annette Castro and Arlene Rubalcava....In my heart and soul...

Love,

Debbie (Olguin) Simon
