Jim,

I was so sorry to read that Patricia had passed away.  My condolences.

Pat and I had many a great time in school.  She was a sweet, sweet gal and so giving.

There was nothing she wouldn't do for a friend.  Even though we did not keep in touch after graduation, I remember her fondly.

Sincerely,

Sandra Pemberton Jake

Patricia and I were married in Tucson in 1956 and worked our way through the University of Arizona graduating in 1959.  We were married 45 wonderful years.  She gave birth to our son Steven in Bainbridge, Georgia while I was in pilot training and to our daughter Brenda in Ankara, Turkey while we were on assignment in the Air Force. She learned to speak the Turkish language to the delight of the Turks. She was a dedicated teacher and taught elementary school for 30 years, mostly in Scottsdale AZ.  We built a home in Pinetop, AZ, which the family still uses today.  Patricia passed away in Mesa AZ on September 6th, 2001 from a brain tumor.  She was dearly loved by all her family and friends and we miss her.
