Comments:

I live in Saint Petersburg, Florida. We escape the summer humidity by heading north. In 2015 we will attend our granddaughter's wedding in Vermont and, then, continue on to the Pan Am Games, which will be held in Toronto.
Exercising at the gym (aerobics/weights/tai chi) is an important part of everyday life. Husband Paul just came through major heart surgery (12/14) so we're now planning our next "summer adventure" in the camper. He's doing well.

Life is relaxing but never dull. Some years ago, Paul and I became drop-outs and sailed the Caribbean several times on our own 33-foot sailboat, traveling throughout the Bahama Islands and, then, south through the West Indies and on to Venezuela. On a later trip, we braved 24-foot seas to reach Honduras and Guatemala, Belize and the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. We lived afloat for as long as 18 months per-trip.

Sailing was a grand adventure and created huge holes in the work resumes.

But, I also had an exciting career: New York was my favorite career location. There, I was Advertising Director for Vanity Fair after serving as a Public Relations Manager at Monsanto. And, after leaving the glamour of the Big Apple and sailing out its East River to points South, we ended up sailing into St. Petersburg, FL., where I became a Sports Reporter for the St. Petersburg Times and, later, the Marketing Director for the City of St. Petersburg (home of the Tampa Bay Rays)!

School Story:

The attempt at re-painting A-Mountain with garbage cans full of paint in pick-up trucks.

Pajama parties with the girls, while the boys (including Dennis) tried invading over the patio wall.

The Senior Follies with our fave, Danny Romero.

Pat,
Had no idea you had such a wonderful "drop-out" life. I had a boat and sailed but nothing like you experienced. Sorry we were not able to connect more at the reunion. May you stay safe and healthy. The Best Milton Pope

Sue was a gentle friend with a soft smile and a tough work ethic. She and her husband visited Tucson for the last reunion and we shared sailing stories like old sea dogs, both of us having lived aboard a sailboat and having learned how relentless the sea can be. Alas, she was felled by some other fate than an ocean wave. I will miss seeing her, knowing her, following her life adventures.
