Married to Maria for 23 years. Run a Elderly Foster Care home, Worked for Pima Conty Corrections for 6 years and State of Az., Dept. of Corrections for 28 years. Coached Little league baseball for 20 seasons. Currently a Volunteer for Pima County Sheriffs Dept (Since 2005) doing Emergency Response, fingerprinting Neighborhood Watch and Park Patrol, as well as Portraying McGruff the crime dog. Love to fish in Rocky Point and hunt.

I remember the fun times we had playing basketball during lunch against the teachers. We had a team called the Ethnic all-stars, a team made up of all races. The name was given to us by Coach Nymeyer and Coach Engbretson. I also remember our Cross Country team. The first thing we ever beat was a rattle snake while running. We had a barbecue and the snake was the main course as well as burgers. Also, in my Senior year, the day after Senior Ditch Day, I was called into Principal Meneleys office. I thought I was in a world of problems. I was asked if I knew why I was called in and I played dumb. After giving a good scare, Mr. Meneley asked me if I would give the Benediction at commencement. Being mightily relieved, I said yes right away without knowing what it was. Giving the Benediction was a very proud moment of my high school year.
