Maria Altamirano (Parillo)

I wanted to take this opportunity to THANK YOU ALL for making our Reunion weekend such an AWESOME event!

The weekend flew by so quickly and time went so fast when we were all together that I did not take the time to tell each and every one of you how much I appreciated you being there.  I appreciate you all & your friendships!

The consensus from everyone was that “THE CLASS OF 81” is a VERY SPECIAL kind of SPECIAL!

I will continue to post pictures as I receive them from you and from Facebook – so please keep checking our Website.

I feel very blessed that God placed you all in my life to share our childhood memories and that we have been granted the opportunity to add another memory to those memories.

I can’t help but think of this old song/poem…

"Make new friends, but keep the old;

Those are silver, these are gold.

New-made friendships, like new wine,

Age will mellow and refine.

Friendships that have stood the test -

Time and change - are surely best;

Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray,

Friendship never knows decay.

For 'mid old friends, tried and true,

Once more we our youth renew.

But old friends, alas! may die,

New friends must their place supply.

Cherish friendship in your breast-

New is good, but old is best;

Make new friends, but keep the old;

Those are silver, these are gold."
