Alfred "Freddie" Vasquez was born in Superior, Arizona on March 2, 1960 and passed away on February 26, 2015. He is preceded in death by his brother, Steven and father, Alfredo. Freddie is survived by mother, Maria Elena; brother, Edward; sister, Jessica and her husband, Michael; nieces, Jennifer, Stephanie and Paris; nephew, Manny and great-nephew, Gabriel. Freddie had a strong sense of family. His family moved to Tucson when he was two years old. He attended Roberts Elementary, Naylor Middle School and graduated from Rincon High School in 1978. His passion for cooking led him to obtain a degree in the culinary arts. His career led him to live in Sedona, Arizona and Tom River, New Jersey but Tucson was always home. We will miss his wit and sense of humor. We will always remember him as a warm, happy person. He will be missed. There will be a Rosary at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Christopher Church, 12101 West Moore Road, Marana, Arizona, followed by a Memorial Mass.
