From the University of Arizona I earned A Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business and then a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I was a labor and delivery nurse for 10 years and the Manager at the Assisted Reproduction unit at University Medical Center. I had to retire at 37 years due to disability from Multiple Sclerosis. I have given motivational speeches regarding my MS and battle with breast cancer. My passion is traveling and rubber stamping.
My favorite memories were with Georgina Young-Ellis, Dorothy Chapman Murphy and Georgia Shore having fun in Drama. I was the statue of liberty for the football half time shows and Band Day. I was an officer in Future Home Makers of America all four years. I never took a Home Ec. class. I loved goofing off in physics with Mike Salyer and in yearbook.
